What is a beard balm you ask? Beard balm is basically conditioner for your beard.
After showering/bathing, while your beard is still damp, rub a small amount of balm into your hand/onto your fingertips and work it through your beard using your fingertips.
You can comb your beard after application to finish styling.
The longer the beard, the more often it requires conditioning, but you can use it everyday if desired regardless of beard length.
How much is needed depends on a couple factors, a) how much beard you have b) how much conditioning you need.
It may take you a few tries before you determine the proper amount to use each time. Try not to use too much as this is a leave in conditioner and if too much is applied, it can leave the hair looking greasy and limp just like regular hair conditioner.
If you want a little additional conditioning, apply to the beard at bedtime for overnight conditioning.
